Senior leadership role with one of the Largest banking firm

Department Overview :

- Capital Markets Technology portfolio consists of Technology solutions for Primary Markets /Investment Banking/GIB Municipal Products/Asset Backed Finance, various Secondary Markets Trading verticals (like Equities, Fixed Income, and Commodities etc.) and Institutional Investor Services (like Prime Brokerage, Futures Commission Merchant Services).Technology group is also organized as cross product horizontals (including Electronic Trading Services, Risk & Compliance Services, and Funding, collateral and liquidity management and Operations technology).

About the Role :

- Java/J2EE application/module lead with hands on development for PRIME Services technology team within Capital Markets Technology, EIT India.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Application Lead as well as Individual Contributor with hands on development

- Communicate with stakeholders for requirements gathering and status update

- Review architecture and design for suite of applications and provide suggestions

- Collaborate with QA, production support and platform engineering teams effectively.

- Strong analytical skills to identify and solve problems.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Essential Qualification :

- Bachelor Degree with 9-11 yrs. of IT experience with exposure on capital markets domain (preferably Backoffice functions)

- Strong hands on experience on Java/J2EE projects. Should have good experience in design patterns & principles

- Spring, JDBC, JMS, Multithreading, Web Services

- Working experience on Spring Boot/Micro Services architecture.

- Knowledge of Databases

- Familiarity with GitHub, Gradle, Jenkins

- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements with due attention to details.

Desired Qualification :

- Understanding of MongoDB, Groovy

- Knowledge of Prime brokerage and good understanding of the end-to-end trade lifecycle.
