About the role:
As the Content and Communication Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies that align with our brand goals and engage our audience. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker with a knack for storytelling, strong writing skills, and the ability to manage projects across multiple platforms. You will work closely with marketing, product, and the founders to craft clear, cohesive, and effective messaging that drives engagement and builds brand loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Development: Lead the ideation, creation, and execution of high-quality content across various formats, including articles, video scripts, tweets, social media updates, videos, and infographics, ensuring alignment with brand voice and messaging.
- Content Planning: Develop and maintain a content calendar outlining upcoming topics, publication dates, and distribution strategies to ensure consistent content delivery.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research on industry trends, audience preferences, and the competitive landscape to inform content creation. Utilize insights to generate relevant and engaging topics.
- Editing and Quality Assurance: Oversee the editing process to ensure all content is clear, compelling, and error-free. Provide constructive feedback to team members and maintain high editorial standards.
- Collaboration with Creative Teams: Work closely with graphic designers, videographers, and other creatives to produce visually appealing content that complements written materials.
- Audience Engagement: Monitor audience engagement metrics (likes, shares, comments) and adapt content strategies based on feedback and performance data to enhance reach and interaction.
Required Skills:
- Ability to Identify Viral Hacks and Content Ideas: A keen sense for spotting trending content ideas and a drive to deliver impactful results.
- Strong Writing Skills: Exceptional writing and editing abilities with a meticulous eye for detail. Skilled in crafting engaging narratives that resonate with target audiences.
- Content Creation Experience: A minimum of 4-7 years of experience in content creation or copywriting roles, with a proven track record of producing diverse types of content.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with editing software, social media algorithms, camera technicalities, and the editing process.
- Creative Thinking: Ability to generate innovative ideas for content that captures attention and encourages audience interaction.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Portfolio of Work: A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of written pieces across different formats and industries, particularly on social media platforms.
- Project Management Skills: Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines, and maintaining quality standards.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze content performance metrics to inform future content strategies and improve engagement rates.
