The Associate Director of Business Development will lead our Global business development team and will be responsible for Lead Generation and qualification of new opportunities from initial interest level. As the Director in charge of inside sales you will be expected to meet or exceed team quota and to develop pipeline forecasts, which is done through effective management of the sales team.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop well-targeted strategies and lead nurturing plans for the year and relentlessly drive it
- Work with the Sales & Marketing management to develop and grow the opportunity pipeline as per targets for each regions globally
- Ensure that the company meets its stipulated growth goals driven the Qualified lead generation for all Sales Regions.
- Work closely with Marketing & Sales in order to develop & drive pipeline generation strategies
- Ensure effective prospecting/communication template creation, call pitches, social media reach out etc
- Use Sales 2.0 Technologies & drive adoption of best in class tools to continuously improve BD productivity
- Recruit, train, coach, develop & motivate a team of Business Development Executives/Inside Salese Reps
- Assist in building a high-performing sales process, help with analytics & strategies to help new region growth etc.
- Manage data for new and prospective clients in Salesforce CRM, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and documents are attached
Skills & Experience Required:
- Atleast 10+ Years of experience in driving high performance business development teams
- Should have experience in leading a BD/Inside Sales organization for a SaaS Company
- Should be creative and a problem solver with the ability to work in a Volatile, Uncertain, and Ambiguous environment.
- Should have a strong understanding of business practices and industry trends
