ABOUT THE JOB:

The role involves conducting extensive research across various consumer internet domains, identifying new business opportunities for Zupee & working extensively with leaders for new businesses to help them build these businesses & scale. The role is best for people who want to live the life of an investor & operator simultaneously.

Here's what you will do:

- Build a long-term view of emerging technologies, trends across the consumer internet ecosystem based on in-depth research (primary, secondary) and data driven analysis. Identify and craft Zupee's role in it, with the intent of building long-term company & product strategy around those vectors

- Identifying & engaging with the best founders & companies working in these domains

- Help onboard these founders & companies into the Zupee ecosystem

- Working closely with founders / business leaders as their right hand person on various operating strategic matters. Taking companies from an idea to a functioning, attractive business

- Work in an unstructured environment of an early stage business like a key founding team member

- Preparing presentations and investment memos

What are we looking for :

- 2+ years of experience in top-tier consulting / VC / consumer internet / startups (preferably growth, strategy, founder's office roles)

- A passion for helping build internet businesses from scratch

- Keen interest & belief in the startup space in India

- Strong analytical & execution abilities

- High levels of empathy & EQ

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Good acumen with presentations & Excel

- Great primary & secondary research skills
