We are looking for a Regional Head - Channel Sales who will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of business operations as well as setting strategic goals for the future. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all matters of business. They will be a competent leader able to provide guidance that enhances performance in a manner that incorporates the company's vision and culture.
You will get a hands-on, end-to-end experience of how to compete in a marketplace and achieve targets despite negative externalities coming your way. From setting up targets for a particular individual/ region to accomplishing the current fiscal year targets for the overall business vertical and planning for targets for the next fiscal year, everything would be coming under your belt.
Responsibilities:
- Hitting and exceeding annual and quarterly revenue targets including the sales funnel
- Leading & organizing prospect meetings and engaging other corporate resources as required
- Creating & articulating the compelling value propositions for customers in pitches, proposing pricing models based on customer's needs
- Debottlenecking internal processes for faster conversion of large deals
- Maintain a solid working knowledge of essential trends including industry trends, cost drivers, global pricing, material lead times, and technical/manufacturing processes
- Understand the competitive landscape and market trends and then develop long-term business relationships continuously
- Planning and Executing end to end sales cycle for potential clients; from lead generation, and managing trial accounts to the closing of new business deals
What do we need?
- 5-7 years of experience in building channel sales preferably in FMEG, electronics or a similar industry
- Degree (B.Tech, or equivalent) from a premier college
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Structured thinking with an excellent analytical approach
- Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, databases, and information systems
- Good understanding of research methods and data analysis techniques
