- Drafting of notices, contracts, complaints, plaints and all legal documents
- Review contracts - LOI, MOUs, joint venture dealings, agreements, offers, loan documents, franchisee agreements, dealer agreements,, technology agreements, negotiable instruments, commercial agreements, corporate documents, as required by the company from time to time.
- Work on operational agreements - lease, rent, leave and license, maintenance, transport agreements.
- Ensure compliance with Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, approval of Agencies, Agency agreements vetting and review.
- Ensure Competition law compliance Vetting of contracts, creating awareness.
- Advising the company on negotiations, arbitration, dispute resolution, recoveries, if any.
- Coordinate with senior counsels, law firms for litigation assistance.
- Advise on trademark, patent and other intellectual property issues including filing and protection from infringement.
- Advise the Company on various issues including statutes, government regulations and contractual obligations.
- Should be a team player and demonstrate a good project management approach combined with good communication skills.
- Should have a very good business understanding and are willing to learn and evolve in an entrepreneurial and result oriented environment.
- He/She would need to analyse wide array of complex laws and regulations affecting the operations of the Company including those arising from corporate structures and business models.
- Work closely with regional heads of finance, human resources and compliance in relation to reviewing business practices/ corporate structures, training and investigations.
- Identify outside counsel on complex legal issues, and supervise and coordinate all work sent done by law firms.
- Specialization in IPR.
- Expertise in research and keeping up with changing laws (case law studies).
- Good Communication skills.
- Should be able to multi-task.
- Should have sound negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to prioritize.
