Roles & Responsibilities :- Zoomcar is building the leading marketplace for car sharing in emerging markets, with over 20,000 cars on the platform across India, Southeast Asia and the MENA region. We empower hosts to safely generate additional income from their cars, and for guests to experience the benefits of flexible car rentals.
- Communications at Zoomcar is expected to be a creative powerhouse behind the company's public image. The team helps shape our presence as an emerging, exciting lifestyle brand and company, and is responsible for growing awareness and consideration of our services. The team does this, in part, by engaging with partners, influencers and media outlets, and also by managing our agency relationships in the region.
- We are hiring a Global Communications Lead, and are open to candidates based in India, Indonesia, Egypt, Vietnam or Singapore. We're looking for a high-energy, creative professional that's able to bring fresh, new ideas to the business.
- The role reports to the Chief Growth Officer, and will be directly responsible for managing communications across India and our high-growth international markets. The successful candidate will work with regional cross-functional teams and with relevant external partners to drive our objectives forward.
Responsibilities :- Develop Zoomcar's communications strategy in all of our markets that help support the business and brand, and tell our story to the world
- Clearly formulate Zoomcar's strategy across corporate, product, partnerships and lifestyle communications
- Engage cross-functional teams at Zoomcar, across all markets, to ensure that our communications are aligned with short-, medium- and long-term opportunities
- Be an creative idea factory for campaigns and activations, but also see through execution of those ideas from start to finish
- Create and maintain relationships with hosts, guests, partners, influencers, media outlets and agencies
- Work with Zoomcar senior leaders to create media engagement opportunities on a regular basis
- Manage Zoomcar's library of press materials
Requirements :- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- 10+ years experience in the communications field, either working in-house or in a PR agency
- Significant experience developing strategic communications plans that tell Zoomcar's story to the world, and also connect to OKRs and the company strategy
- Experience managing agency partnerships in multiple countries, in India, Southeast Asia and the MENA region
- Experience with bringing consumer lifestyle campaigns to life, from start to finish
- Experience with plugging in a communications strategy into a broader content strategy
- Experience developing a calendar around relevant events, festivals and other major moments in each of our markets
- World-class project management, collaboration and communication (written and verbal, in English) skills
- Bring a positive, can-do attitude to work every day
- Additional language proficiency for Arabic, Bahasa or Vietnamese will be preferred
