Business Manager
Role Overview :
- This role will be a part of International Business Team wherein the incumbent would be required to increase top line by engaging approaches pertaining to demand management, pricing controls, platform usability and customer segment analysis.

- Working in cross-functional environments including working closely with Product, Tech, Supply, Marketing, Finance, Operations, etc.

Skills you will bring to the table :
1. P&L Management and Driving Growth :
a. Define & drive the short term and long-term growth agenda of the business while influencing various cross functional teams
b. Business forecasting and driving channel-specific deliverables to achieve overall P&L goals
c. Tactically manage active revenue levers to achieve the daily margin, conversion, and transaction goals
d. Tracking performance parameters and keep a tight control on business KPI numbers
e. Follow a stringent action plan and collaborate with the product team to increase platform conversion
f. Collaborate with operations team to devise and ensure smooth processes
g. Drive revenue delivery and loss prevention, working with operations, risk, and finance functions
2. Data Analysis and Reporting:
a. Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and
analysis integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources
b. Proactively analyse data using statistical methods to answer key problem statements
c. Self-initiated curiosity with an eye for what drives business performance, investigating
and communicating areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity
Tools that will be used:
- SQL and Excel
- Tableau
Relevant Experience :
a. 3-5 years of relevant prior experience of working in an online business/platform ecosystem as a Business/Category Manager
b. Strong analytics background: exposure to analytics tools will be ad added advantage
Personality :
a. Good understanding of the product category, market, and growth opportunities to implement strategic and targeted action plans to achieve goals
b. Strong communication skills, Influencing skills, great interpersonal & stakeholder management skills
c. High on energy, team player coupled with a great attitude
