Role Overview:
The Associate Director will play a critical role in scaling our operations and ensuring the success of our fulfillment centers across the country. This position demands a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in operations, growth management and team leadership. You will be responsible for building and managing supply and demand for listed cars, establishing franchise partnerships and ensuring smooth operations at our fulfillment centers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Set Up and Expand Fulfillment Centers:
- Strategically plan, set up, and roll out fulfillment centers across the country.
- Ensure that each center meets company standards for customer service and operational efficiency.
2. Supply & Demand Growth:
- Lead initiatives to bring in supply (car listings) and demand (renters) to ensure optimal utilization of listed vehicles.
- Develop and execute growth strategies for expanding market share and customer base.
3. Franchise Partner Development:
- Build and manage relationships with franchise partners to operate and grow fulfillment centers.
- Negotiate and secure partnerships with stakeholders to expand the business footprint.
4. Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the fulfillment centers to ensure high standards of service, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement processes to monitor performance, drive continuous improvement, and minimize operational issues.
5. Team Leadership & Development:
- Recruit, hire, train, and lead a team to manage fulfillment center operations effectively.
- Foster a culture of excellence by mentoring the team to deliver the best customer experience.
- Implement training programs to ensure operational consistency across all centers.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments such as product, marketing, and customer support to ensure smooth and integrated operations.
- Provide insights from operations to help refine business strategies and product offerings.
7. KPI Management & Reporting:
- Track and analyze operational metrics to ensure performance targets are met.
- Provide regular reports to senior leadership on center performance, growth progress, and operational challenges.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years in operations and growth, with experience in setting up and scaling fulfillment centers or similar operational hubs.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of hiring, training, and mentoring teams.
- Growth Mindset: Proven ability to drive growth through innovative strategies and hands-on execution in a dynamic environment.
- Business Development: Experience in building partnerships and managing franchise or third-party relationships.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage both internal and external stakeholders.
- Education: MBA or equivalent preferred.
