Associate Director - Digital Marketing
Responsibilities :
- The Digital Marketing growth typically lives at the intersection of marketing and product, and is focused on customer and user acquisition, activation, retention, and upsell.
- The candidate will work cross-functionally with engineering, analytics, product management, operations, and marketing to design and execute strategies for 10x-100x growth.
- The primary role is to spearhead all digital and performance marketing initiatives leading to demand generation and revenue growth.
- Define the performance marketing charter for acquisition and bookings across India and international markets
- The candidate should be proficient digital marketer and understands the complexities and how various digital channels like Displays, SEMs, Retargeting, Social, Emails, PNs, SEO could be used to drive acquistion and retention.
- Drive performance marketing efficiency across paid and owned media channels
- Needs to live and breathe data. If required, shouldn't mind getting his/her hands dirty to work with the analyst and write SQL codes, analyze consumer cohorts, study conversion funnels and detail out consumer journey to identify next set of opportunities for hyper growth.
- The candidate should be able to map data to business needs and draw actionable insights to chalk out plans for pushing revenues and utilization in line with the planned new cities launch and fleet expansion
- Understands P&L and levers of profitability and hence constantly aim for driving efficiency and profitable consumer acquisition across all marketing channels and initiatives.
- Should have played a key role in the hyper growth in the past organization.
- Can bring best practices from other industries/ business models and adapt it to the business/marketing needs of Zoomcar.
- Provides thought leadership and guidance to the internal team.
- Create an amicable environment suitable for facilitating cross-training and professional growth.
- Partner with the team on quantitative and qualitative research that delivers actionable insights to drive growth and influence key marketing decisions.
- Work with the brand team to launch, measure and optimise brand campaigns
- Identifying new and efficient marketing channels for driving faster adoption.
Must haves :
- 8+ years of deep domain experience in consumer digital marketing across channels including, but not limited to SEO, SEM, FB, Youtube, Email, SMS, notification as well as app marketing and more.
- Knowledge of Appsflyer, Google Adwords , Facebook Business Manager and CRM tools
- Demonstrated ability to scale transactions and products digitally. Experience in managing scale a big plus
- Expertise with various digital and analytics tools
- Expert understanding of digital ecosystem and programmatic buying
- Great communication skills
- At least 5+ years of experience leading a team; Worked in hyper growth ecommerce and internet companies
