We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our company as a Zonal Sales Manager (ZSM) for the North East and North Bengal region. As the ZSM, the candidate will be responsible for managing the sales operations and driving business growth for the following product divisions: Biscuits, Cakes/Cookies, Rusk, and Instant Noodles.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve the company's sales targets and expand market share in the assigned region.

- Manage and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluation to ensure optimal performance.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retailers, effectively managing their expectations and addressing any issues or concerns.

- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive activities in the region.

- Collaborate with the marketing/sales team to develop and execute effective promotional activities, brand building initiatives, and product launches.

- Monitor sales performance and market trends, providing regular reports and insights to senior management for decision-making purposes.

- Ensure proper inventory management, demand forecasting, and timely delivery of products to customers.

- Stay updated with industry developments, consumer preferences, and regulatory changes related to the assigned product divisions.

- Drive a culture of excellence, teamwork, and customer-centricity within the sales team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements :

- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the FMCG industry.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team towards achieving sales targets.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at various levels.

- Sound knowledge of the North East and North Bengal market dynamics, including customer preferences, distribution networks, and competitive landscape.

- Qualification: MBA from a reputed B-school, such as IIM or equivalent.

- Age: Young and dynamic, not exceeding 35 years.

- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
