Zonal Sales Manager (Battery/ Tyre /Lubricant)

As Regional Sales Manager, the incumbent:

- Directs and controls the entire regional activities towards achieving agreed sales volumes/targets for a geographical area which will help the company to achieve its strategic and business objectives.

- Set up Dealer network and to increase dealers' strength gradually.

- Create Area sales plans in alignment with business objectives.

- Analyze Area market trends and discover new opportunities for growth.

- Implementing sales goals and communicating them to key individuals.

- Collecting customer feedback as well as market research.

- Directly responsible in meeting with designed sales & collection targets of his territory on weekly, monthly & yearly bases.

- Business Growth of products in the assigned territory through available leads, cold calling, references from existing customers.

- Analyzing credit assessment of clients.

- Arrange business terms & conditions with clients in order to prioritize organizational objectives.

- Analyzing competitors' products to determine product features, benefits, shortfalls, and Plan comprehensive strategy to gain advantage over same.

- Adding new customers month of month for area development.

- Oversees the smooth functioning of the entire regional activities.

- Ensures achievement of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Sales Target through existing and new dealer and distribution channel members, supervision of all related activities which contribute positively to the overall performance of the division.

- Ensures adherence to sales policies and implements the policies provided by Corporate Marketing team.

- Drive for excellent customer service.

- Developing a sales force with contemporary selling and marketing skills.

- Coaching and mentoring the team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- To look after overall business in the assigned region.

- Direct, organize, monitor, and control Area Managers, Sales Executives, Sales Trainees & MSRs to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained to meet sales targets and that they carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.

- Monitor and control the budget for the Region to ensure that all financial targets are met and are in place to comply with company and regulatory requirements.

- Maintain accurate records of all sales activity and prepare regular forecasts and strategy to enable effective forward planning.

- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and other relevant bodies to ensure that the company's maximum sales potential is realized in the area.

- To be responsible for demand generation activities, promotional campaigns, channel partner meets thereby improving market share through penetration activity, cultivation of new channel partners and network expansion, as well as management and support of existing channels/network Primary and Secondary Network.

- Maintain awareness of brand building and company products and of relevant sales techniques and strategies to ensure that the role is carried out as effectively as possible.

- Monitor the sales performance of competitors to ensure that the company maintains and develops its competitive position.

- Provide the main source of expertise to the company on business development issues.

- To provide after-sales service support in coordination with Service Team for improving customer satisfaction.

Qualification And Experience:

1. 12-18 Years of dynamic and result oriented Sales & Marketing professional with superior written and verbal communication skills having rich experience with top grade Tyre/Lubricant/Battery Industry.

2. Communicates expectations and objectives providing ongoing and frequent feedback to both improve and address any areas for concerns.

3. Balances the workload, commitments, and priorities of individuals vs the company when setting expectations and assigning work.

4. Monitors and ensures the efficient and appropriate use of resources, tools.

5. Uses individual as well as group goal setting to maximize performance.

6. Challenges rules or practices that present inappropriate barriers to independent action and decision-making.

7. Brings excellent performance to the attention of the larger organization.

8. Seeks resources that will enhance the team\'s productivity.

9. Coaches in different areas, identifying training and development needs to support professional growth.
