- Leading the Agency-ZM, RMs and AMs to drive AL GWP and recruitment and sales targets on a regular basis
- Focus on building a large sustainable book of Agency Leaders, business and base of agents
- Responsible for tracking performance on a regular basis and plan necessary strategic and tactical interventions
- Travel to various locations to do a status check, interaction with Top Agency Leaders and important prospects
- Allocation of targets among different team leaders and driving performance against the same
- Responsible for hygiene of business sourced by the branches across the zone
- Experience in insurance 18-20 years in managing Sales / Business Development
- Should have handled a team of >100 people (Direct + Indirect)
- Excellent communication skills and a thoughtful, persuasive personal style
- Ability to influence key stakeholders and operational owners through well-articulated strategies backed up with metric driven value statements
- Ability to develop, test and validate hypotheses. Should be competent at analysing both quantitative and qualitative data
- Should have excellent analytical, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Additionally, experience in a corporate strategy role would be an added advantage
