Purpose:
Expand the customer base and achieve sales targets through effective management of the sales team in the assigned zone.
Job Description :
- Create sales plans after assessing market potential and share it with the Reporting Manager
- Manage a team of sales representatives ensuring optimum sales performance from their respective area by achieving the decided targets of volume, product mix, margins, collection, etc.
- Review and provide periodic sales reports with respect to Client visits, objections, opportunities, information on competitor activities, etc.
- Plan, direct, or coordinate the actual distribution or movement of finished goods to the customer.
- Develop new business by appointing new channel partners right from lead generation to concluding the new contracts.
- Establish supply options including tie-ups with local C&F agency, in order to ensure timely supply of goods to customers (if required).
- Participate in negotiations of contractual agreements with clients in the zone in concurrence with the Reporting Manager.
- Make marketing / sales intelligence in the region available and ensure it is timely shared with the Head office to contribute in overall performance of the organization.
The desired candidate:
- Must have substantial exposure to the Automotive Lubricant industry.
- Have Strong relationship management skills
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills. Preferably knows to speak one regional language
- Possess extensive exposure in developing new business with Channel partners
- Should have preferably worked for considerable duration in the lubricant industry
- Well versed with MS Office
- Willing to travel extensively.
- Be able to lead a team.
