Hiring for a Leading Private Sector Bank

Job Purpose:

- The Zonal Manager for Large Corporates will be responsible for overseeing and managing the corporate banking portfolio for large corporate clients within the designated zone. The role involves driving business growth, ensuring excellent client relationship management, and achieving the financial targets set by the organization. The Zonal Manager will also play a key role in strategic decision-making, business development, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Revenue Generation:

- Develop and implement strategies to grow the corporate banking business within the zone.

- Identify and target potential large corporate clients for banking services.

- Drive the achievement of revenue targets by expanding the client base and increasing wallet share from existing clients.

- Develop and manage relationships with key decision-makers in large corporations.

2. Client Relationship Management:

- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by providing tailored banking solutions and services.

- Resolve client issues and complaints in a timely and efficient manner.

- Maintain regular contact with key clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.

3. Team Leadership & Development:

- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of relationship managers and other staff within the zone.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to enhance their performance and professional growth.

- Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure that team members meet their individual targets.

4. Strategic Planning & Execution:

- Contribute to the development of the overall corporate banking strategy.

- Implement corporate banking strategies and initiatives within the zone.

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to adapt strategies accordingly.

5. Collaboration & Coordination:

- Collaborate with other business units and departments to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.

- Work closely with the credit, operations, legal, and compliance teams to ensure smooth processing and delivery of banking products and services.

- Liaise with senior management to provide regular updates on business performance and market conditions.
