Job Title: Zonal Manager

Need Candidates only from Health / General Insurance Company.

CTC: Upto 26 Lacs

Job Purpose - To manage and maximise business development across all channels of intermediary distribution within a given branch geography.

Reports to

Head – Retail Business

Team Reporting Channel Managers (Agency, Broking and B&A), Training Manager and Operations Executive

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

- To grow the agency business to targeted GPW numbers with a team of Agency Managers in the branch. Focus on building a large sustainable book of business and base of agents

- To grow the Broking and Bank assurance & Affinity business to targeted GPW numbers with Broking and B&A Managers in the branch.

- Handle key relationships in the branch with personal focus, whether in agency, broking or B&A.

- Allocation of targets among different team members of the branch and tracking & enabling performance against the same.

- Develop opportunities within the branch geography for affinity tie ups

- Responsible for overall administration, operations and statutory compliance activities of the branch, with support from the corporate office

- Responsible for hygiene of business sourced by the branch

Knowledge / Experience / Skills

- MBA with at least 10 - 15 years of experience in sales. At least 7 - 8 years handling a sales team, and minimum 8 years in the insurance industry (General or Health)

- Should enjoy building from scratch and independent working. Needs to appreciate importance of building a team and keeping the team motivated. Needs to be able to balance the requirements of business hygiene and compliance with top line pressure
