Zonal HR Partner - South
Position based with a large Private Bank in Bangalore/Chennai
Role Overview:
- The Zonal HR Partner (South) will be responsible for driving the HR agenda across multiple locations in the southern region.
- This role requires close collaboration with business leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives, ensuring seamless talent management, employee engagement, and compliance with HR policies and labor laws.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Business Partnering:
- Act as a strategic HR advisor to regional leadership, driving people strategies that align with business goals.
- Partner with business heads to ensure a strong performance-driven culture.
- Support workforce planning, succession planning, and capability building across the zone.
Talent Acquisition & Management:
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment for key roles in the southern region, ensuring timely hiring.
- Work closely with hiring managers to identify and onboard high-quality talent.
- Support internal talent mobility and career progression initiatives.
Employee Engagement & Culture Building:
- Drive employee engagement programs, pulse surveys, and initiatives to enhance workplace culture.
- Address employee concerns, grievances, and escalations in a timely and effective manner.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Performance Management & Learning:
- Implement performance management processes, ensuring goal alignment and regular feedback.
- Identify learning and development needs and collaborate with L&D teams to design relevant training programs.
- Drive leadership development and career progression frameworks.
HR Operations & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to company HR policies, labor laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage HR audits, compliance checks, and disciplinary processes.
- Work closely with payroll and HR operations teams for seamless employee lifecycle management.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 12-15 years in HR Business Partnering, preferably in NBFCs, banks, or financial services.
- Education: MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, talent management, and employee relations.
- Experience in handling large teams across multiple locations.
- Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
