Our client is one of India's leading Life Insurance Companies
Job Purpose
The role is responsible for acquisition of new relationships for various channels in an open architecture environment that allows banks and other corporate agents to tie up with multiple insurance service providers. The role is also responsible for acquisition of new partners for group credit life business including NBFCs and HFCs.
The role works closely with Head-Strategic Alliances and Head-Strategic Alliances & Alternate Channels in identifying, acquiring and activating new channel partners. The incumbent is also responsible for drawing business and manpower plans for these partners, ensuring strategic fit and once acquired ensure seamless onboarding along with the respective channels during the initial stabilization period.
Role in Detail
1. Identification of broad distribution segments and opportunities within each of these distribution segments to ensure a strategic fit for the company
2. Ensure effective approach towards increasing geographical spread with clear focus on persistency and profitability
3. Ensure acquisition activity across partners and partner types pan India.
4. Ensure that all tie-ups result in higher contribution to business, higher persistency and profits for the company.
5. New unexplored distribution channels that have an ability to scale up and generate revenues for partners and the company
6. Inputs from every function through regular and rigorous interactions to build a strong selling proposition for the company
7. Ensure that market intelligence from time to time are shared with support functions to improve the company's deliverables
8. Execute and launch the new partnerships
9. Develop and monitor a product mix strategy for varying customer segments
10. Analyse business trends and give necessary inputs to the Business Head on the directional changes that may be necessitated
11. Identify new business opportunities, business models and provide inputs on the impact these can have on the channel growth
The Successful Candidate
1. Ideally should have around 6 years plus of experience
2. Should have experience of getting strategic partners on board
3. Should have relevant Insurance and Banking experience
4. MBA degree
