- As a Zonal Head of the in-store merchandising team, the candidate will be managing and executing merchandising strategies by ensuring the deployment of creating and maintaining visual displays in the store windows and on the sales floor. The candidate will also contribute to the profitability of the store with merchandise handling, replenishment, and inventory control efforts.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage Zonal merchandising delivery & deployment system
- Vendor Management
- Evaluate Planning: Managing end to end Quotations and escalations
- Permanent Journey Plan (PJP) - Ensuring adherence to Permanent Journey Plan (PJP) by Vendor’s FOSs
- Route Planning
- Ensures adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Review operations deployment & execution on a monthly basis with vendor & teams
- Ensures deployment & execution VM KPIs are met nationally for all channels and programs/campaigns
- Partner with merchant team in writing visual merchandising direction for test stores.
- Partner with construction team in updating new store fixture packages, store layouts and designs.
- Partner with Creative Coordinator and marketing team in selecting/creating all assets for monthly floorsets.
- Travel stores with District Manager and Field Visual Managers.
Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Client expectation management
- Monitors vendor budgeting and driving cost efficiencies
- Managing & tracking warehousing & logistics of POSMs
Experience & Educational Qualification
- A bachelor's degree is preferred in visual or fashion merchandising, graphic design or other arts-related fields, states Fashion School website. Retail sales or marketing experience is helpful in understanding customer behavior
- Graduate/Postgraduate 8-10 years of relevant experience .
- Expertise in Design and Implementation will be an added advantage
