An amazing opportunity for an individual having minimum 13 years of experience, in FMCG (expertise in edible oil is a must) procurement. Expertise in Sourcing and procurement as well as great acumen in reading the market, while handling a P&L of minimum 5crore plus. Having a masters in in supply chain management, logistics or business administration. Our client is looking for a professional who is looking for a great career in a fastest growing platform who acts as an extended arm for leading FMCG companies of India.

Responsibilities

- Approving the orders of necessary goods and services

- Closure of Terms of Trade (TOT) with suppliers, commercial negotiations, and building strong relationships.

- Discovering the profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships

- Controlling the expenditure and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs

- Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies to meet business requirements from time to time.

- Collaborating with the key people to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company

- Tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.

Requirements :

- Prior exposure of Sourcing and Supplier management is preferred.

- Excellent negotiator

- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with suppliers

- Experience in negotiations and networking.

- Aptitude in decision-making and working with number.
