Job Description: Zonal Head - Private Wealth Management

Location: Bangalore

Reporting to: Head PWG

Role Overview:

The Zonal Head for Private Wealth Management will be responsible for overseeing the zonal sales operations, managing a team of Relationship Manager Team Leads and Relationship Managers, and ensuring the achievement of business targets. The role also involves acquiring and maintaining customer relationships, ensuring compliance, and enhancing customer satisfaction through various initiatives. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in wealth management, corporate banking, or investments within the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Zonal Sales Management:

- Oversee and manage zonal sales activities for the Wealth Management business.

- Ensure that the Relationship Manager teams achieve their budgeted targets.

Team Leadership:

- Lead and manage Relationship Manager Team Leads and their respective teams.

- Drive performance and ensure team goals are met or exceeded.

- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and customer-centricity within the team.

Customer Acquisition:

- Acquire and manage customer relationships, ensuring a robust and satisfied client base.

- Focus on sourcing and managing high-net-worth individuals (HNI) and ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNI).

- Drive sales of third-party products, including PMS, mutual funds, and other asset classes.

Building AUM:

- Develop and implement strategies to build and grow Assets Under Management (AUM).

- Foster strong relationships with clients to encourage long-term engagement and investment.

Servicing HNI & UHNI in Wealth Management:

- Ensure exceptional service delivery to HNI and UHNI clients, addressing their unique financial needs and objectives with personalized solutions.

- Continuously enhance the client experience through proactive engagement and bespoke wealth management services.

Compliance:

- Ensure that all Relationship Managers adhere to the bank's guidelines, systems, and procedures.

- Implement and monitor effective risk management practices to safeguard the business and clients.

Customer Engagement:

- Organize customer meets and campaigns to foster relationships and address client needs.

- Enhance customer satisfaction through exceptional service and relationship management.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Handle any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the bank from time to time.

Desired Skills and Experience:

- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in managing sales within wealth management, corporate banking, or investments in the financial services industry.

- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and motivating sales teams.

- Customer Focus: Proven track record in acquiring and managing high-value customer relationships.

- Compliance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in wealth management.

- Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic plans for business growth and customer engagement.
