Job Description : As a Zonal Sales Head for Mortgage Loans, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales operations and performance of the mortgage loan division within South zone. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of mortgage lending. You will work closely with a team of sales officers, managers, and support staff to achieve sales targets and ensure compliance with lending regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve mortgage loan sales targets within the assigned zone
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats
- Collaborate with senior management to set realistic sales goals and budgets.
2. Team Leadership and Management:
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team, including sales officers, managers, and support staff
- Set performance targets, provide coaching, and conduct regular performance evaluations
- Foster a collaborative and motivated team culture
3. Business Development:
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key partners to generate leads and referral business
- Explore opportunities for expanding the mortgage loan portfolio within the zone
4. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all mortgage loan activities within the zone comply with relevant regulatory and legal requirements
- Implement and maintain effective risk management practices to minimize loan defaults.
5. Customer Relationship Management:
- Oversee client relationship-building efforts to maintain high customer satisfaction levels
- Address escalated client issues and inquiries, ensuring prompt resolution
6. Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data, providing regular reports to senior management
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary
7. Training and Development:
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills
8. Budget Management:
- Manage the budget for the mortgage loan division within the zone, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient resource allocation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Extensive experience in mortgage lending, including a proven track record in sales and leadership roles
- In-depth knowledge of mortgage lending regulations, products, and market trends
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
- Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
- Ability to work independently, make data-driven decisions, and adapt to a dynamic market environment
