As the Zonal Sales Manager (ZSM), you will be responsible for managing the channel partners (SIs, VAR, MSPs etc.) & End Customers sales across the South region from Government Sector.
You will identify, onboard, enable & build strong and sustainable relationships with partners to propel the company business to the next level & meet/exceed defined sales targets. Company already has a significant relationship in place with a broad spectrum of partners and the successful candidate for this position must understand how to drive interest across the channel & enable the close interworking between the channel & company.
Responsibilities -
- Managing and building Sales Team i.e. Account Managers across all prominent areas in West India and ensure their Sales Targets are met.
- Responsible for the activation and retention of South India based Managed Service Providers & Systems Integrators and established Value-Added Resellers (VARs) to expand market share.
- Coordinate with the Sales Head on Daily basis for successful closures of the cases.
- Analyze multiple market factors to recommend business solutions basis customer & partner needs.
- Responsible for the overall growth, health, and revenue from the Government Sector of South India
- Establish strong relationship with all key decision makers across central and state government departments/public undertakings.
- Ability to work in a flat hierarchy/start-up environment, delivering results with minimal supervision.
- Build revenue and non-revenue business plans with partners.
- Understand and be fluent in the delivery of the Company vision and value proposition to Sales Team and Channel Partners.
- Need to coordinate with Partners & manage timely Renewals for their existing customers.
- Makes decision based on an appropriate amount of information/data analysis
- Will spend time & teaching the partners how to fish & go on end-user sales calls with the partner.
- Coordinate with on-ground & Inside Pre-Sales Team to prepare RFP or get compliance check.
- Develops and implements strategic plans that drive the attainment of critical business objectives
- Provide partner feedback to Company sales leadership.
- Need to update Partners about Company Promos, Webinars and New Pricelist etc.
- Track Partner opportunities in CRM and forecast weekly.
Desired Skills:
- 8+ years of Regional/Zonal management in networking or security or Telco sector.
- Experience in building business and marketing plans with partners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong listening, presentation & convincing skills
- Sells Consultatively - Ability to use collaborative communication to engage clients in discussions that result in mutual value.
- Superb organizational skills Whatever it takes attitude and motivation to deliver above quota performance.
- Prior experience with smaller, growing companies.
