Role- Zonal Finance Manager
Any of the major metros (Mumbai/Gurgaon/Kolkata/Bangalore)
Reporting to- Zonal Business Manager and Finance Manager at HO
Education- CA/ICWA/B.Com with relevant experience
Key areas of focus:
This role will act as a liaison between the HO and Zone. The individual will be responsible for Zonal Credit Management, Business Interface for the zone, Implementation of financial policies, Budgetary cost controls, internal controls, FCF and other MIS and Corporate Governance requirements for the HO
- Implementation of core projects for 2 zones of the organization
- Debtors and Credit Management for 2 Zones
- Finance & Business Interface with Institutions and field and depot teams
- Budgeting & Cost Management
- Reduce Sales Returns, Breakage & Expiry
- Ensure compliances to statutory, internal controls (FCF), and corporate governance requirements
- Inviolable Controls at Depots and monitoring Taxation compliance for states
Job responsibilities:
Debtors and Credit Management
- Communicating and training the team about the Credit policies
- Implement the Credit Policy in the Zone and ensure 100% compliance
- Monitor Collection of Institutional supplies
- Interface with Depot/HO settlement of Customer credit claims
Business Partner – Interface with institutions and field and depot team
- Ensure 100% compliance to Institutional business SOP at Zone and depots that includes reviewing original Tender document, purchase order, delivery of goods, receipt of payment from Institution, pricing
- Regularly visit, Institutions to understand concerns if any and prepare action plan in consultation with HQ and take action to resolve the issue
- Interact with the Depot and Field teams to understand concerns if any and raise at regular intervals and seek solution
Budgeting & Cost Management
- Seek Examples of BAD cost in zones by interacting with customers and team, inform HQ, develop solutions to reduce BAD cost of the business
- Track monthly performance v/s budget for cost and sales, and analyze reasons for gaps
Compliances to statutory, internal controls, and corporate governance requirements
- Communicating and training the field about Financial Control Framework, Internal Controls and corporate governance
- Ensure compliance to Financial Control Framework
- Timely advice to HQ finance team about control/ governance issues, changing trends or structures
