Job Responsibility-

Monitoring

- Key contact point at the Zone for any clarification and guidance on the entire Zone functioning.

- Functioning of the Core Banking System and Regulatory Reports. Skills with regard to monitoring of transactions in the accounts, AML systems and Screening systems

- Key responsible for risk coverage in the Zone (Operational, Financial, Compliance, Reputation, Fraud risk).

- Responsible for preparing the Zone for the audits by IAD team, statutory and RBI audit.

- Responsible for conducting structured meetings with the key stakeholders (branch/cluster/region) and discussing process and regulatory violations/critical findings of the audit reports for immediate attention / rectification and ensuring the risks identified and focus on remedial action plan.

- Developing and implementing a risk-based compliance monitoring program in consultation with the head office Compliance department and in line with the policies. Identifying, assessing, monitoring and reporting all material compliance risks.

- Key responsibility for day to day monitoring and reporting of compliance risks.

- Ensure that compliance procedures, systems and controls are up-to-date and effective.

- Maintain the compliance manual, and all compliance procedure documentation

Advisory

- Maintain an understanding of relevant regulatory requirements to provide advice and guidance to staff and managers enabling them to implement compliant policies and procedures in the zone.

- Be responsible for day to day management of employee training, including providing regular training to employees on compliance matters, including internal policies and procedures, the application of standards and guidelines, and relevant laws and regulatory requirements, promoting and enhancing a strong bank-wide compliance culture.

Risk Assessment

- Assist with the Compliance risk assessment process ensuring that the Compliance risks are appropriately identified and assessed.

- Associate with Compliance testing.

- Assist internal audit team for ATR compilation including quality of rectification.

- Assist in identification and reporting of serious irregularities/gross violations of internal control guidelines that may result in potential breach or fraud incident and highlight immediately to the senior management by way of special report/incident reporting.

- Assist on root cause analysis and the remedial action plan with timelines and qualitative suggestions/recommendations for improvement of processes and risk mitigation.

AML Due Diligence

- Ensure detailed and prompt investigation of all identified cases.

- Handle file reviews of suspicious activity to ensure compliance with the policies and procedures put in place.

- Provide relevant compliance reporting to ensure the completion and proper analysis of suspicious activity reports that have been conducted.

Regulatory and other statutory Reporting

- Assist with preparing standard and ad-hoc information and data reports to regulators and other stakeholders as required.

- Prepare and manage on regular basis appropriate timely management information on compliance and regulatory issues to Head of Compliance including suggested mitigating actions.

- Submission of prescribed compliance reports to HO at regular intervals
