A leading Textile Company is seeking for a senior Sales Professional with 12+years of exp in working as a Zonal Head.
Job Location : Mumbai (Prefer candidates from Mumbai only)
Objective : The Zonal Sales Head is responsible for the sales performance for the assigned zone in India. He/She assists Sales Head in delivering the overall zonal objectives and takes pro-active initiatives to increase the market opportunities.
Responsibilities :
- To ensure coverage of new outlets and towns as per set target
- Should have good experience of the distribution and retail network at a zonal level
- Closely monitor, influence and report on the actions of the Zonal Sales team in order to check their alignment with the agreed overall strategy
- Implementing and analyzing sales plan with RMs
- To ensure proper selection and training for distributors sales officers
- To implement excellence in selling systems thru distributor channel
- To provide inputs to the merchandising and category teams
- Assisting VP/ Sales Head in operations like MIS, Specific analysis of MIS and briefing to senior management
- Track competition activities. Ensure proper and immediate information sharing / feedback for appropriate and timely action
Desired Candidate :
- MBA with 12-15 Years of managerial experience of which at least 5-6 (5 years should at regional level)
- Should be working for well known FMCG / consumer product companies
- Proven sales record
- Team management skills and the ability to efficiently collaborate with different stakeholders
- Effective presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinking, Judgement and Decision Making, creativity, leadership and goal orientation, quantitative skills & communication skills
