As the Zonal Business Head, you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales operations across multiple regions within a designated zone for a Luxury Brand in Diamond Business. You will be accountable for driving sales growth, achieving revenue targets, and managing a team of sales professionals. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute sales strategies and plans for the assigned zone to achieve sales targets and maximize market penetration.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales managers and representatives to ensure high performance and target achievement.
- Monitor sales activities, analyze performance data, and identify areas for improvement or corrective action.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to align sales activities with business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and channel partners to drive business growth and expand the customer base.
- Conduct regular market research and analysis to identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences within the zone.
- Provide guidance and support to the sales team in developing and delivering effective sales presentations, proposals, and negotiations.
- Monitor and manage the sales budget for the zone, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to senior management, highlighting performance metrics, market insights, and growth opportunities.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes that may impact sales operations within the zone.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- 5 plus years of Proven experience in sales management, preferably in a similar role, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse sales team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and analytical mind-set, with the ability to analyze market data and identify business opportunities.
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Experience in managing sales operations across multiple regions & territories is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to track and manage sales activities.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned zone as required.
- Knowledge of the industry or product category relevant to the company's business is an advantage.
