Job Description :


- This position is responsible for end-to-end development of channel for select region. This involves identifying new distributors and new channels like digital, flagship, TaaS, etc. alongside traditional channels as per predefined guidelines and manage sales & revenue growth.

Description:

- Provide inputs development of strategy for Channel Development

- Execute Channel/ Sub Channel Development strategies for the region in line with the overall strategy


- Provide inputs for arriving at the brand positioning, pricing, promotion, launch etc to achieve objectives

- Evaluate and monitor channel development initiatives to drive continuous improvement, efficiency and effectiveness for dealer, customer and company.


- Implement consistent policies across channels/ markets to rely upon

- Increase the reach of AM sales in the region through identifying new distributors and other partners.


- Identify new channels (digital, flagship, TaaS, etc.) to increase the reach in the assigned region

- Review distributor locations based on the population strategy and identify new locations in the region.


- Ensure that distribution in the region is enhanced by identification of new channel partners and constant upgradation of channel partners.

- Manage new distributor onboarding and ensure ramp-up of new distributors in the region to expected potential as per defined timelines.


- Work with trade marketing to arrive at discount/ loyalty programs for current & future partners

- De-bottleneck issues as and when they arise in the region


- Coordinate handover of distributors to Sales team


- Periodically review and strengthen the distributor and sub-distributor network operations in the region

Profile:

- 5-10 years of experience in channel sales and management is a must

- Preferable industries- automotive, batteries, lubricants and paints


- The incumbent should have an excellent knowledge of the aftermarket dealer segment

- Current/preferred location to be Mumbai, Maharashtra
