Position Summary:
- The Asst Vice President of sales reports to the COO and is a member of the company's executive team.
- He/she is responsible for the direction and management of all sales and business development operations, including market competitiveness, pricing, compensation, and distribution and channel strategy.
- The AVP Sales will drive the company's achievement of its customer acquisition and revenue goals.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all the B2B sales and operations activities for the assigned region/part of India.
- Supervise the functioning of other departments like warehouse, operations, etc. for the location.
- Oversee the hiring and development of the field sales/business development team.
- Be a role model for the company culture.
- Drive the development of sales strategies for the specified geographic area.
- Developing sales plans, processes, forecasts, presentations and proposals
Pre-requisites:
- Should have worked in an eCommerce company or should have a good understanding of the functioning of an eCommerce company
- Should have good experience in Sales/Business Development
- Should have 4+ years- experience in team management
- Should preferably be a Post Graduate in Management
