Job Context and what will you do :
- We believe we are in a very exciting junction in our journey. We have scaled up from being a start-up and now are looking at building a sustainable, fast growing and a profitable company. We are thus looking at many new models of doing business including evaluating newer categories, geographies and channels.
- This inflection implies the need for a strong Category planning team which can work in ambiguous and unstructured environment and can take charge. The mandate would be to look at mid to long term planning and influence the buying directions/strategies
- Preparing merchandise plans and OTB plans aligned with AOP.
- Conducting regular category performance reviews.
- Responsible for key planning metrics like- Stock cover, GM%, Discounting, Ageing, Sell-thru, Full price sell-thru.
- Take ownership to drive automation and proactive alerts/mechanism within respective functions.
- Working with cross functional teams (brand, sourcing, technology) to drive bigger strategic projects and initiatives.
- Conduct analysis for assigned business problem by collecting data from all internal and external sources and perform analysis to get answers to business questions.
- Help in putting together business proposal based on trends etc.
- Put together excel models for business scenario analysis.
- Build & fortify the business model to understand opportunities & create a business solution.

Your background :
- You will have an Engineering / Maters degree in Business Administration or related Master's degree and / or professional certification with 2-5 years of experience.
- Tier 1 institutes.
- Candidates with exposure into top Retail, FMCG, Online or Consulting background preferred.
