VP Engineering for a Mature fast-growing Startup

Embraced by leading enterprises as well as mid-sized organisations, ZingHR is looking to capture the fast growing market opportunity. Backed by global investors and leading Technology Giant, ZingHR is poised to create a niche position for itself.

For this innovative venture, we are looking for a new-age Cloud Technologist who has worked on large scalable cloud platform, preferably with multi-country experience. Currently we are entirely on Microsoft Stack (Azure, Dot Net, SQL...) and Mobile Platforms (Android, iOS, Windows)

The VP of engineering reports to the CTO or CEO and works closely with other a few Technology Partners and will be responsible for all of the company's product development activities.

Location: Mumbai, India

Opportunities:

- Be a part of the senior management team that drives the company's vision

- Develop strategic planning for and direction and control of product development activities.

- Provide technical direction and guidance, as well as hands-on project management, for all product development.

Management of Technology Partners:

- Ensure the optimal application of technology and engineering resources to meet product development and/or customer requirements, per the product and/or marketing requirements document.

- Ensure that the product is fully and correctly defined and documented.

- Hire and direct staff of senior group members and to acquire necessary resources and plan to meet scheduled commitments.

- Ensure implementation of formal processes to support the product development process.

Requirements:

- Strong operational and project management skills.

- Demonstrated team building and leadership skills.

- Ability to carve our clarity for self and team in lieu of challenges and opportunities that the business provides

- Solid understanding of engineering technical issues/needs, financial, sales, and marketing as related to product design and development.

- Sound knowledge / know-how of Mobile Technologies

- Well-versed with emerging UX

- Be a quick learner and also be ready to unlearn things from the past

- At least 10 years engineering experience.

- Bachelors in Engineering or Computer Science required
