Due to aggressive growth, made very clear within their 3 to 10 Year plans, a newly created role has become available for a Zero-Base Budgeting Manager. Job Description - The role of Zero-Base Budgeting Manager, within the business finance division of the company, plays a critical role in supporting the decision making process. Initially, through individual contribution, this role reports into the Budgeting Business Process Director. The core responsibilities are within budgeting for the fixed cost & commercial spend. Beyond simply analysing the variances, the role holder will take corrective action and ""ownership"" of the numbers & hence support business. A large component of the role involves a strong focus on cost control, which is just one of the reasons this post-holder would have for regular, deep & meaningful interactions with a variety of senior stakeholders from outside Finance. These would include Supply Chain, Sales and Marketing teams - Regional & Globally. This role would also involve setting up and re-structuring processes to the global standard as the organization evolves out of its joint venture.

The Successful Candidate - The successful individual will be a qualified CA - but with a business, not a CA, mindset. You will have 6 to 10 years of post-qualification experience - our extraordinarily progressive client will consider the highest potential people for developmental purposes - within the Business Finance and / or Commercial space. What can be considered having ""either the resolve or the experience"". You will already be within a - top-tier' FMCG brand organization & will have accumulated a track record of consistent value additions and achievements. As above, our client stresses that while a host of professional & technical competencies are important, its the flexibility that comes from a business mindset and results driven approach through supporting the business that is critical. Finally, this position requires a long term view, maturity and pragmatism. This is due to the critical nature of the work & the global, senior, stakeholders and brand-owners with which you will be dealing.
