Job Description / Responsibilities:
This positon is of strategic importance to the organization and it's growth. The head of Commerce practice is responsible for the Commerce Business growth via building solutions, creating differentiators (Solution Accelerators, Platforms, Patents etc.), hiring talent, providing the consultative solutioning. The Commerce towers/ services that are part of the scope: Omni Channel Commerce, B2C/B2B solutions and services addressing ATG, Hybris, Magento, open source, WCS.
Responsibilities:
- Create the Practice Strategy Plans aligned to organization's growth vision and drive Implementation (GTM)
- Will carry a direct revenue target for the growth and margin target for the delivery responsibility
- Partners with CXO's to drive the Commerce opportunities in the existing customer base. Works closely with sales/delivery team to identify the opportunities and drives the successful closure.
- Work with Sales teams to drive Commerce NN wins. Does the solution design, creates the differentiators and drives the win.
- Provides Commerce services vision, enables innovation and seeks to leverage IT trends that can create business value consistent with the customer requirements and expectations.
- Conduct product vendor evaluations ensuring best in class technologies and partners for the solutions build and implementation
- Hands-on technical depth enables direct oversight, problem-solving leadership and participation for complex commerce implementation, upgrades and operational troubleshooting
- Manage the Practice teams and senior leaders within the team towards one goal
Desired profile of the Candidate:
- Overall 17 to 20 years of experience with 12 plus years of Commerce Experience (the recent one)
- Experience in solution design/delivery for one or more Commerce Platforms namely ATG/Hybris/Magento/Open Source/WCS for over 5 plus years for reputed customers
- Excellent track record on the Commerce practice and / or delivery
- Should have at least 2 certifications across the commerce platforms at professional level
- Consulting experience and defending solutions experience is a must
- Should be a good team player
- Should have participated in driving large commerce deals recently for a size above $10 M plus
- Good experience on Microservices in the commerce environment
