Business Analysts will work closely with on- and off-shore teams, managing defined pieces of data analytics. Normalization and enrichment of spend data. Designing and defining analytics reports to be used by customers. Manage day to day activities & communication related to projects.
Responsibilities
1. Data Audit - Check data quality, identify gaps and present to client
2. Data Scrubbing - Create data cleansing rules and incorporate data clarifications provided by data source owners
3. Data Profiling - Create multi-dimensional data views, data analysis, reports and extracts
4. Data Analysis - Analyze procurement spend & identify saving opportunities using analytics tools/spend data audit reports
5. Data enrichment - Data tagging using standard spend tree/taxonomy or any other customer-specific taxonomies
6. Identify savings opportunities and perform spend diagnostic on procurement data
7. Conduct market research to create company, industry primers, etc. using online secondary data or information sources
Skills Required:
1. Excellent analytical and research capabilities - comfort and proficiency in handling large data analysis and secondary market research
2. Good spoken and written communication skills
3. Advanced MS Excel skills - ability to handle and structure analysis independently
4. Excellent attention to detail, high output accuracy and out-of-box thinking to bring in innovative approaches to problems/issues in data processing
Work Experience: 1-5 years of experience in procurement data analysis or analytics & market research
- Knowledge of Sourcing process, Dashboarding and other analytics tools will be a plus - Qlikview, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Talend, Python, R
- Knowledge of SAP or Oracle data extracts, table structure for procurement modules is a plus
