Job Description
Senior Position: Brand Marketing
Location: Kolkata
Qualifications required: MBA (Marketing) for premier institute.
Experience: 6 - 8 years preffered
Reporting structure: This is a senior position and the incumbent would be reporting to the Business Head.
Responsibilities:
1. Brand visibility and capturing optimum market audience for Zee Bangla
- Formulating the marketing strategies and planning the various marketing activities to achieve volume estimations, identifying the target audience, reviewing products/ merchandising & executing promotions to ensure channel movement.
- To analyze the Consumer research, Channel track studies and Market feedback measurement. Evaluating customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implementing marketing plan changes as needed.
- Conceptualizing, executing and working with Advertising agencies for developing Launch campaigns and continuing communication and engagement for the viewers.
2. Brand development
- Formulating and facilitating corporate communication strategy and delivery in coordination with Corporate Brand Development team.
- Collating information on product performance, market presence and brand position vis-a-vis competition in liaison with Market Research & Consulting Agencies.
- Making the Marketing Communication message briefs, creative briefs and planning & execution of the launch activities.
3. Planning the marketing budget
- Annual marketing plan/budget; and allocations to each unit of the cluster, monitoring and control during implementation with monthly/quarterly plans.
4. New Media Planning
- To manage new media with web marketing, mobile, search engine positioning, Internet marketing strategy development, and information architecture with a focus on increasing targeted web site traffic.
- Managing all web marketing efforts including: organic search, paid search, social media marketing.
