Role & Responsibility:
To formulate and direct the overall marketing and communication strategy (on air and off- air) for the channel, so as to achieve and retain the status for the channel by achieving the desired GRP targets and through an increase in reach.
To formulate strategies for generation of alternate sources of revenue for the channel so as to contribute to the top line objective.
To establish a clear brand proposition for the channel/channels.
To prepare on air as well as off- air marketing plan (for trade and consumer) and set a marketing budget in alignment with the objective of the channel.
To stay abreast and ahead of competition.
To set systems, policies, values to enhance operations.
To spot business opportunities with a view of earning revenues, saving cost and building brand equity.
To build a competitive and result oriented team.
Forecasting trends and impact of current decisions for short term and mid to long term scenario.
Adjusting resources in a constantly evolving competitive scenario.
Desired Candidate Profile:
MBA Marketing from a reputed institute
12 plus years of experience in brand building with reputed organizations.
Broadcast Experience is a must
A proven track record in a senior marketing role
Strategic thinking, Creative bent of mind, excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, strategic thinking ability, analytical skills, presentation skills
