Job Responsibilities :
- It involves Solution Preparation/Proposal based on Customers Requirements, product demonstrations, proof of concept creation & creation of marketing documents.
- Should be able to understand what the customer needs, develops an initial view of the solution the customer needs, then tailors the product or services of his company to meet what the customer needs. He will be responsible to explain or sell the best possible solution to the customer & finally closing the deals.
- Tender/RFP documents review and preparation of analysis of tender documents. Assignment of tasks and completion of tasks. Bid document preparation and bid submission.
- Follow up on the tender and giving responses to the clarification from the customers. Order finalization for successful biding.
- Maintenance of Customer Data base and correspondences related to the various customers.
- Interactions and follow up with Technical teams to prepare the customer proposals. Quotation preparation and coordinating with sales teams for timely delivery of quotations or proposals to customers.
Experience Required :
- Should carry minimum 7-10 years of experience preferably in the domain of Telecom infrastructure.
- 5+ years of experience performing in presales role.
- 4+ years of experience in implementation projects in technical capacity (design and development role).
- Should have been directly involved in effort estimations for customization required on products/solutions. Exposure to at least 3 industries and expertise in 1 industry and 1 domain.
- Desired Experience of working in software product set-up in presales capacity.
- Handled presales for at least 3 - 4 different products/solutions/offerings. Handled presales for opportunities involving multiple integrations. Handled presales for on-demand model, hosting services. Handled presales for support / maintenance work.
- Worked with partners and other vendors to create a joint proposal. Led team of 2 - 3 presales consultants while remaining hands-on with presales activities.
- Good understanding of various IT Systems & Technologies.
- Aware of different product stacks from different leading product vendors and their comparative analysis. Performed opportunity analysis and created value propositions working with different teams.
- Worked on formal process of funnel creation, tracking and closure in the system. Analyzed contractual and commercial aspects and created pricing models / structures for win ability.
- Participated in shortlist process and relevant vendor activities including client presentations. Created Marketing / Sales collaterals and presentations.
- Worked on initiatives to improve productivity / reusability / knowledge management. Tangible contribution to improvements in the scope and quality of offerings. Handled reporting and data mining for presales opportunities.
- Led end-to-end responses to multiple RFPs/RFIs. Written market-facing proposals meant for external clients. Done gap analysis, compliance statements, effort estimations & Costing, schedule.
- Performed risk management, documented assumptions & dependencies. Given demos on solutions and offerings to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and at odd times with dynamic work load and time pressure. Worked in an environment involving multiple functional & technology teams, virtual teams. Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self-driven and takes initiatives.
