Job Summary:
- We are seeking a skilled and experienced Program Manager to oversee the maintenance and operational efficiency of our charging infrastructure across multiple locations.
- The Program Manager will work closely with the charging system development team and electrical team to minimize system faults, ensure the smooth operation of charging stations, and improve field operations.
- This role will also be responsible for managing teams of technicians in each city, ensuring optimal technician performance, minimizing downtime of charging systems, and managing spare parts and inventory effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the upkeep, maintenance, and operational performance of charging systems across multiple cities.
- Collaborate with the charging system development team, electrical team, and other stakeholders to reduce system faults and improve system reliability.
- Manage and support a team of city-based technicians who will be responsible for field execution, system diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Monitor and improve key performance metrics, including technician efficiency, system downtime, and spare parts management.
- Ensure prompt response to system failures, minimize downtime, and oversee the timely resolution of issues to meet performance targets.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and preventive maintenance programs to extend the life and reliability of charging infrastructure.
- Track, analyze, and report on operational metrics such as charging system uptime, maintenance costs, spare part usage, and technician productivity.
- Provide technical leadership, training, and support to field technicians to ensure best practices and safety standards are followed.
- Manage the budget for field operations, including spare parts inventory, technician resources, and maintenance expenses.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system reliability, maintenance processes, and overall operational efficiency.
- Work closely with city teams to ensure spare parts are available for repairs and maintenance, and manage spare parts handling, storage, and inventory levels.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program or operations management, with a focus on electrical systems or infrastructure maintenance.
- Strong understanding of charging infrastructure and electric vehicle (EV) systems.
- Proven experience in managing field-based technician teams and maintenance operations across multiple locations.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and field teams.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience tracking and reporting on operational metrics.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and convey technical information to various stakeholders.
