Role Summary:

We are looking for someone who can articulate our thoughts, ideas and work into strong cohesive narratives, and can mobilize public relations and media to take them to the larger stakeholder group.

Key Responsibilities:
Public Relations:
1. Own PR strategy & execution aligned with the priorities of the parent brand, business lines & functions
2. Build strong, consistent & lasting narratives in earned media (online & offline) to position Yulu as a thought-leader & industry bellwether among various stakeholder groups
3. Create monthly and quarterly PR plan with clearly defined KPIs & deliverables (including city-specific plans to address city business & marketing needs)
4. Work with the PR agency partner to achieve strategic & tactical outcomes (plan, execute, review with full ownership)
5. Innovate across channels, formats and media platforms for effective outreach and meaningfully engage with media for high TOM, high-impact presence in print, TV and online media
Long-form Content:
1. Conceptualize & create compelling, engaging and insightful long-form content - blogs, authored articles, press releases etc.
2. Unearth ideas and creative opportunities to take functional innovation, customer stories, user experiences, business improvements etc to keep the respective stakeholders informed, engaged & excited about Yulu's work.
3. Innovate with formats of long-form writing from Use-case, benefit-centric, case studies, blogs, authored articles, Q&A etc
4. Support Employer branding and internal communications efforts through ownership of written content.
Key Requirements:
1. 5 years + of journalist experience
2. Past direct exposure into PR/ Corporate Communications role is an advantage
3. Passionate about communication & comfortable with liasioning with internal & external stakeholders
4. Clear, concise and compelling communication skills - written (mandatory) and spoken (preferred)
