- As a Regional Manager of Operations, he will be responsible for managing entire operations for tagged warehouses/branches. Ensuring all warehouses are running smoothly as per the process setup
- Drive High performance & customer-focused culture: Being obsessed with metrics and diving deep to find root causes quickly, to drive improvements. Lead KPIs related to speed, reliability, customer experience, and cost as per business alignment.
- Be Structured and agile: Development and implementation of SOPs with a customer-first approach. Build a culture of continuous improvement through lean practices, Gemba Kaizen, and other productivity improvement tools.
- Lead Innovations with speed: Find practical and simple solutions to complex problems without sacrificing quality or core functionality. Run experiments that will challenge our assumptions and make Youngman better. You will have the tools to do things that have never been done before and also the freedom to fail fast.
- Drive overall performance of all the warehouses that are tagged under him - Stock audits with an idea of Zero variance in each tagged warehouse should be performed - Finalizing the transport agreements with the vendors on the minimum viable rates and process for the movements.
- Weekly call with all the blue collars to understand the ground issues and supervise guide, and motivate them towards the common goals.
- Daily calls with the Branch controllers on their performances, movements & issues - Optimization of operational costs including (Petty cash, Transport cost, Misc. expenses)
- Expansion of new branches as per the business needs
- Forecasting of stock and analyzing the requirement from the warehouses.
- Scrutiny and approval on the expenses, and invoices of the branches used under various heads.
- Implementation of all the new tasks taken into consideration by the management.
- Adherence to warehouse management 5S
- Manpower management & retention.
- Monthly Provisions submission & maintenance of various operations reports (Roaster, Task Assignment).
- Teams' training and retention.
- Daily Ops takes need to be monitored and take corrective actions to improve.
- At least 4-5 years of work experience in an Operations role (Warehousing, Logistics, Rentals, etc.)
- Previous experience in Rentals Industry.
- Have managed a team of 20+ members with direct reporting. Must have handled blue-collar employees as well.
