About the Role:
- As a District Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration within a designated geographical territory.
- You will lead a team of sales representatives, develop and implement effective sales strategies, and build strong relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
- Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to develop team members' skills.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review performance, discuss strategies, and address challenges.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target accounts.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Use sales tools and CRM to track sales activities and customer interactions.
Team Management:
- Recruit, hire, and onboard new sales representatives.
- Set performance expectations and goals for the sales team.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales and sales management.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Proficiency in sales CRM and other sales tools.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
