We like to call this position as the brand manager in social media. Its a pivotal role that will help us stand out in a crowd of startups and established brands, all vying for consumer mind-share.
Requirements:
- You have to be creative and funny. Indian brands on social media are extremely boring. We don't want that.
- You have excellent command over English language. You use perfect English even when you chat with your friends.
- Have some kind of experience in managing social media for a consumer internet company. If not, you are very active on social media with a large following.
Responsibilities:
- You will single-handedly manage the identity of the company in social media.
- Create content which is original and engaging. No copy paste jobs and no SEO style template based writing.
- Engage a lot with the community, they should you love more than their mothers. If you ask them to share something they don't just like and share it, they ask others to share it as well.
- Independently manage social media campaigns with support from a graphic designers. Let no event pass by where we have not won the internet. Yeah!
- Ensure that all forms of copy that goes out in the public, be it the newsletter or job description, is written properly and reinforces our brand positioning.
- Manage our presence everywhere on the internet. If there is a blog post mentioning us on the internet, make sure all the comments are responded well.
Salary: There is no budget or a figure that we have in mind for the right candidate.
