- With a rapidly growing customer base, we are seeking an analytically-driven marketing leader who can bridge product and marketing to maximize customer retention and engagement.

Role Overview:

- As the Retention & Product Marketing Manager, you will drive customer retention strategies at Yes Madam with a focus on data-driven insights and product-driven initiatives.


- Your role will involve optimizing the app experience and user journey, improving retention and conversion rates, and increasing customer lifetime value (LTV).


- Working closely with product, data, and engineering teams, you will enhance both the marketing and app functionality to deliver personalized experiences that keep customers engaged.

Required Qualifications:

- Education: A degree in engineering, data analytics or related field is required, preferably from prestigious institutions such as IIT, NIT, IIM.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:

- Deep understanding of product marketing metrics, customer behavior analytics, and marketing ROI.

- Expertise in creating predictive models for forecasting campaign performance, customer lifetime value, and marketing budget effectiveness.

- Ability to identify actionable insights from complex datasets and present them clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Market Research Skills:

- Strong ability to synthesize market research, customer feedback, and competitive analysis into meaningful data insights.

Key Responsibilities:

- Retention Strategy & Analytics: Design and execute a comprehensive retention strategy using data analysis to improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as repeat bookings, retention rates, reducing churn rates and customer LTV.

- Product-Driven Retention: Collaborate with product teams to refine app features, optimize the user experience, and ensure in-app enhancements contribute to higher conversion rates and retention.

- Customer Journey Optimization: Analyze customer behavior across the lifecycle to identify pain points and opportunities, making product recommendations that drive improved retention.

- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Work closely with product and UX teams to optimize in-app and web funnels, ensuring a seamless experience that boosts conversion rates from first booking through to repeat usage.

- Data-Driven Campaigns: Leverage data analytics, user segmentation, and insights to deliver highly personalized, omni-channel marketing campaigns that engage customers through email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and SMS.

- A/B Testing & Experimentation: Conduct A/B testing and experiment with both product and marketing initiatives to drive continuous improvement in user engagement and retention.

- Lifecycle Marketing: Implement and optimize lifecycle marketing programs that nurture customer relationships from acquisition to long-term loyalty, ensuring personalized touchpoints at each stage.

- Loyalty & Referral Programs: Design and enhance loyalty and referral programs that reward repeat customers and incentivize word-of-mouth growth, in close collaboration with product teams to ensure app integration.

- Advanced Reporting & Analytics: Build advanced reporting dashboards to track retention efforts, identify actionable insights, and measure the success of product and marketing initiatives.

- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams (product, data science, engineering, and customer support) to ensure customer feedback loops are integrated into app improvements and retention strategies.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related fields.

- 4+ years of experience in retention marketing, product marketing, or lifecycle marketing, with a strong focus on data analytics and app-based customer retention.

- Proven experience in collaborating with product teams to optimize app features for improved retention and user experience, preferably in the on-demand services or beauty/wellness industry.

- Expertise in data analysis tools (SQL, Excel, Google Analytics, etc.) to drive actionable insights from large datasets.

- Hands-on experience with A/B testing, CRM platforms, and marketing automation tools (e.g., Braze, Clevertap, Haptik, Gupshup, MoEngage) to drive customer engagement.

- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, with a focus on influencing product and technical teams to optimize app-based retention strategies.

- Strong understanding of customer behavior, segmentation, and lifecycle marketing strategies to deliver personalized, data-driven campaigns.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
