Vice President / Sr Vice President - Audit & Management Excellence

Objective :

- Collaborate across the Bank to establish best-in-class management practices and governance standards to enable the Bank to grow exponentially.

Responsibilities :

- Review management practices and governance standards /frameworks across the Bank to ensure excellence in management & governance.

- Identify opportunities for improvements / efficiency and remediation of major bottlenecks / issues.

- Recommend solutions in collaboration with Business / Functions.

- Benchmark against best practices wherever possible.

- Provide oversight on major projects

- Lead a team of 8-10 top notch professionals having cross-functional expertise.

Essential competencies :

- Should have the ability to operate in an unstructured environment and think out of the box.

- Should have strong leadership capabilities and have the ability to interface with Business Heads.

- Should have strong influencing skills, capability to drive organisational change.

- Should be a clear thinker, excellent communicator and have very high levels of commitment.

- Should have working knowledge of banking business.

Consulting background is preferable

Qualifications and relevant experience :

- MBA from a reputed institute (IIM, XLRI, TISS, Tier 1 College only ) or a rank-holder / first attempt CA.

- 5-15 years post qualification experience including hands on experience in any of the following Banking functions (Business / Operations / Technology / Risk / Product Management e.t.c.).
