Xtreme Media - AVP/Head - Human Resources
The role's core functions are:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and policies aligned with the core business strategy.
- Steer Talent Development via Engagement, Training and R&R initiatives across the organization.
- Implement market best practices in recruitment and staffing for attracting the best talent in the company
- Generate Critical Insights for Organization & Management using HR Automation & Analytics.
- Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands or grievances.
Talent Acquisition:
- Implement & drive an automated recruitment process which is easily followed by the team to meet recruitment TAT
- Responsible for driving team towards achieving target metrics w.r.t Time to Hire, Quality of Hire & cost of Hire.
- Liaise with other HODs to chalk out the road map & strategies for critical positions
Induction, Training and Development:
- Orient new employees and integrate them with the company's policies, culture, mission and values
- Conduct competency mapping and identify skill gaps across the organization
- Analyze the training needs and conduct/arrange training sessions with employee transformation as the desired outcome
Employee Engagement & Retention:
- Develop and organize highly impactful employee engagement programs
- Ensure that various departments & teams are completely aligned to the end goal of the company & business in totality
- Elevate performance by conducting performance reviews & appraisals in a very effective manner
- Review employee grievances and ensure accurate and timely resolution with documentation of concerns or issues
- Steer employer branding amongst internal & external stakeholders
Payroll and Statutory Compliance:
- Moderating monthly attendance and approving the same through the HRMS portal
- Approving monthly salaries, conveyance reimbursements, etc. for employees
- Making sure all statutory payments (PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, etc.) are done on time
Other responsibilities:
- Keeping in touch with the latest HR trends in the industry and introducing innovation in Key Result Areas
- Creating a strong process-oriented department and digitizing majority of the activities
- Implementing appropriate policies and initiating disciplinary action as per the policies, if necessary, in consultation with Management
- Plan & implement social media branding on different online platforms
- Guide and monitor the administration activities of the company to achieve their objectives
