Xoriant - Technical Delivery Manager

Role :

- As a Technical Delivery Manager, you will manage a team of Software Developers, Software QAs, UX Designers, Technical Leads and Project Managers at various levels to deliver high quality technical solutions and products to some of our large enterprise client(s).

- You will be responsible for the design, development, deployment and maintenance of innovative solutions using the latest tools and technologies. Technical Delivery Managers work closely with Project Management and Client teams and have the overall responsibility for the technical deliverables of projects.

- Apart from delivery you would also be responsible for supporting and front ending various pre-sales activities needed to grow/harvest account. Job would have importance for delivery and presales, so roughly 50% bandwidth would be going into delivery and rest in pre-sales

Key Challenges/ Responsibilities :

- Responsible for delivering multiple projects in parallel on time with high quality

- Involved in understanding complex business problems, evaluate, recommend and deliver technical solutions to both business and systematic issues.

- Responsible for the local team management, mentorship and delivery responsibility.

- Implementation and design of components, and their ownership.

- Participated in Design and Requirement reviews

- Responsible for working closely with customer and ensure deliveries are made per customer business needs

- Responsible for ensuring high client satisfaction through delivery and various value adds

- Worked closely with Sale personnel owning the account, he/she must keep sales personnel up to date about deliveries being made to customer

- Involved in various pre-sales activities and work shoulder to shoulder with sales personnel to grow account

- Represented account internally in create reports for internal management consumption

- Responsible for tracking margins for various projects in account and growing it further

Key Skills :

Mandatory Skills :

- Should have 13 - 18 years of experience in delivering projects/produce mainly with Java/J2EE technology stack

- Good blend of technical skills and business acumen

- Excellent delivery management skills and ability to execute multiple projects. Most of the projects would be delivered in agile manner so person must have good Holmustgile delivery methodologies

- Ability to think out of the box along and strong analytical skills

- High tolerance for change, especially while working within tight timelines

- Collaborative with the ability to manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders

- Personal commitment and accountability to ensure standards are continuously sustained and improved both within the internal teams, and with partner organizations and suppliers

- Excellent communications skills with both offshore and onshore resources

- Strong project management discipline with an eye for identifying process improvement areas

- Self-starter who can stay focused and efficient, whether working alone or in a group

- Good hold on technology and should have worked in technical roles in first 10 years of career. Apart from interacting with VP of Engineering & Director of engineering person would also interact with Technical Managers, Architects and development leads on client side. Interacting with such technical people would require good hold on technology

- Good technical breadth and can pick up new technologies in no time

- Excellent articulation skills and has ability to impress new prospects over phone/in person meetings

- Exposure to pre-sales and proven track record in growing account through delivery lead sales

- Exposure to tracking financials for project and tracking margins
