- Process automation / optimization is a key requirement of the Insurance service industry.
- Driving efficiencies though automation and reducing cost for the client is a key deliverable to any organization in today's world. This role would require the individual to understand / analyze all the processes and provide inputs to improve various aspects like productivity, accuracy or TAT as part of the continuous improvement culture.
- This person should have experience in implementing technological solutions / improvements across global P&C insurance organizations
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsibility to lead technology based business strategies to improve processes and products
- Drive business process automation and Robotic process automation to provide benefits to the customer
- Responsible for outlining the strategy and executables for automating operations processes for Insurance clients
- Lead setup of offshore delivery practice for Insurance industry platforms
- Lead the Robotics process automation practice setup with development of proprietary tools for Robotic automation and solutions for Business, and driving partnership with industry Robotics software providers for capability enhancement and joint go-to-market
- Understanding and build a single customer view to eliminate potential data issues and provide the capability to leverage the same for all reporting
- Constantly try and optimize the productivity of the team through adding relevant enhancements in the process
ROLE/DEMANDS :
- Strong industry exposure to Insurance Property & Casualty
- Strategic and technical expertise in Robotics process automation
- Understanding Business requirements & liaison with the client team for delivery of technology based solutions
- You will define, design and implement process improvements by identifying opportunities to provide benefits to the client organization
- Work closely with the operations and process improvement team (Lean six sigma team) to identify opportunities for improving processes
- Provide automation solutions which can be implemented globally with minimal variations
- To identify the people, process, and technology capabilities required to deliver desired solution, and then plan for the implementation of those experiences
- Develop a scalable framework for addressing the workflow aspects associated with hands offs across different teams
- Own process simplification to eliminate queuing or idle time by removing human interventions and build capability for checking, queuing, reconciliation etc. - Owns the concept, the requirements, solutioning, design to delivery
QUALIFICATIONS :
- 12+ years of Insurance P&C experience
- 8+ years of driving automation across insurance processes
- Lead & managed technical delivery effort of Robotics process automation
- Hands on experience in implementation of automation solutions
- Quick learner with ability to adapt to changing environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, subject matter experts and vendor resources
- Hands on style with strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Exposure of having worked with or deployed one or more automation tools
