WTW - Procurement Category Manager - Networks & Telecom

The Category Manager for Networks and Telco is responsible supporting the wider groups strategic Mobile, Fixed Line Voice and Data Networks category of spend as well as other Procurement activities across the business. Reporting into the Category Lead, Network and Telco, the individual will manage relationships with key stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor on procurement related matters for the IT organization.

In depth IT Procurement Knowledge & experience specifically within the Networks category is essential, as well as having a detailed understanding of the latest market trends and insights, whilst keeping pace with the evolving IT 3rd party landscape.

Responsibilities :

- Create, develop and manage category plans and spend analysis data to develop savings opportunities.

- Manage key sourcing processes to negotiate best commercial and contractual terms

- Identify and support new opportunities to address category spend.

- Put the interests of clients and the integrity of the market at the heart of the way you do business.

- Support the delivery of the wider IT category plans whilst addressing short, mid, and long term business goals and objectives for the immediate Network and Telco category.

- Leadership of high-profile sourcing initiatives.

Requirements :

- 4+ years of Network and Telco category management experience.

- High level commercial and contractual negotiation skills.

- Proven track record of developing and managing stakeholder relationships.

- A strategic and analytical mind-set.

- Creativity to seek and implement new approaches to procurement challenges.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to articulate procurement's value to the wider business.

- In-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and best practices.

- A good working knowledge of procurement systems and P2P processes.
