Manager - Business Development ( Asset Mobility)
Job Objective: Lead business development function by bringing new businesses for the organization and nurturing relationship with existing clients for getting more business.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:.
- Develop the business development strategy plan with respect to customer category / market condition for commercial moving business.
- Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
- Formulate the 'Go-To-Market' and the 'Operations Model' for the Industrial Packing and Projects business.
- Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
- Develop the business development strategy plan for commercial moving business.
- Generate new business relationships and negotiate revenue opportunities with prospective clients.
- Responsible to achieve revenue target as may be defined with the required Gross Profit margin.
Project Planning & Operational Support:
- Liaison with Operations team to ensure adherence and implementation to business plan developed for commercial move.
- Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas.
- Identify and map 'Game changer' accounts and prepare 'account plans' for them in order to retain and engage for long term partnership.
- Operationalize vendor strategy & vendor management processes for the commercial moving business including SLA's and vendor performance monitoring mechanisms.
- Plan and coordinate the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new markets.
Key Account Management:
- Handle customer grievances in critical situations and ensure adequate and timely resolution.
- Resolve customer complaints within minimum turnaround time by identifying and removing areas of obstructions.
- Build, sustain and leverage long term relationships with key clients.
- Build a strong customer base across Writer portfolio to ensure increase in market share.
- Managing customer escalations as per the company's escalation matrix.
- Drive response rate and improve Get 5 scores.
- Analyze customer responses and initiate proactive actions to ensure customer satisfaction and continued loyalty.
- Team Management.
- Recruit, develop and retain the operations team.
- Ensure timely goal setting, evaluation and training for the team.
- Provide direction, motivation and training to the team to ensure optimum performance.
- Create a training plan for the branch to meet branch growth targets.
Qualification: MBA in Marketing.
Experience: 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in BD and sales, Relocations industry preferable; or demonstrated achievement in relationship-based service industry like logistics, hospitality, etc.
