- Develop and present the branch AOP and execution plan to meet the set targets
- Deliver AOP revenue & EBDITA through tightly controlled operations and cost for the branch
- Optimally utilize resources to grow the branch as per the short and long term growth strategies.
- Develop sales and operations plans on an annual, quarterly and monthly basis at branch level across service lines.
- Monitor and execute seamless end to end operations on a daily basis ensuring compliance and exceeding customer expectations.
- Develop peak season operations plan, including capacity building in terms of infrastructure and manpower
- Cross selling all products offered by Writer Re locations and other businesses from the Writer group
- Manage cash flow for the branch through local collections within DSO targets set. Ensuring timely billing as per TAT's. Ensure timely costing to the pricing team.
- Track and share competitive activities and propose strategy to counter them and utilize the intelligence while planning AOP.
- Track, analyze and report MIS on a regular basis - Provide updates in branch reviews through MOR.
- Manage, track and share local relationships of all agent accounts and get preference for Writer in agent related moves
- Plan and oversee white glove moves execution - including meeting shippers and ensuring the move is executed exceeding shipper expectations. (The same gets evaluated through Get 5 scores.)
- Set KPI's for large contracted and empaneled accounts. Review the KPI's on a regular basis and share the findings with the account with the objective of brick-walling the account.
- Manage shipper and account escalations as per the escalation matrix. Managing customer escalations as per the company's escalation matrix
- Manage day-to-day administration of the branch in terms of facilities, local issues and regulatory compliance
- Managing geographic expansion within allocated region, through extension of network and leveraging the relationship across regions where Writer has presence.
- Maintain relationships with select key accounts in the branch as per the account plan
- Recruit, develop and retain the branch teams. Build talent within the branch to meet organizations growing needs.
- Create an atmosphere that promotes learning, high moral values, ethical business conduct by upholding Writer Values. Provide direction, motivation and training to the team to ensure optimum performance. Create a training plan for the branch to meet branch growth targets.
- Maintain and improve product and process quality as per Quality Management Program - including cross functional meeting within the branch
- Adherence to audit compliance and exceeding expectations on CEI scores
Qualifications - (Essential) :
Graduate Qualifications - (Additional, Preferred)
Post-graduation in Marketing / Operations or an MBA
- Around 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in service industry like logistics, hospitality, etc with experience in a profit center head role managing P&L.
- Experience handling blue collared workers / Employee Relation issues will be an added advantage.
- Experience in handling expats will be an added advantage.
- Strong written and oral communications skills (English)
